The Site's Limited Role

This is an independent reference site with no connection to a government office. It does not keep official records and cannot verify custody, release a person, or submit a filing on anyone's behalf.

The pages direct visitors to Wayne County inmate and jail record sources, NCDAC resources, and optional third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Requirements

• Use the site only in ways permitted by applicable law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, servers, or areas without authorization.
• Do not deploy bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
• Do not interfere with site operation or another visitor's access.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

Wayne County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither the site nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. By using the site, you agree that its information will not support:

• A decision to hire, fire, promote, or retain a worker.
• Housing or tenant screening of any kind.
• A judgment about creditworthiness or an insurance premium.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA.

Independent Websites and Services

Links may lead to Wayne County release-record pages, sheriff and corrections websites, government portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, availability, or data handling, so review its terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all of its content are offered "as is" without warranties. We do not promise:

• That information is accurate, complete, or current.
• That access will be continuous or uninterrupted.
• That the site will be free from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Wayne County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, modify, publish, or distribute those materials without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Conditions

We may update these terms at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted on this page.

Suspension or Loss of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

North Carolina Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute must be filed in a court located within North Carolina.

If One Provision Is Invalid

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be adjusted only as much as necessary and all remaining provisions will continue in effect.
